what I see at the GH

i found out that the General Hospital here in Kuching is so lack of doctors and nurses/staffs. This is very terrible when there are emergency cases. Imagine the patients are suffering and there are only a few nurses around to help out. So, you know lar those those those who study medic ones... please please please study hard and graduate smoothly and service at the GH in future. Contributing is good. And ya... must be kind hearted too you know. Jia you : )

I was there in the GH at the midnight of 9th and I saw lots of things happening around in the emergency department. I saw how the staffs do their works; how a mother cares about her child; how long we need to wait for doctors to come for the patient (Alright. We reached the hospital by 1 smth, the doc came by 3 smth); how kids behave when they are forced to drink medicine; how the nurse cucuk the patient and so on. And I talked to one of the nurse because I was too bored there (the nurse is pretty XD). Now I know what is the differences between the Red Zone, Yellow Zone and Green Zone. The concept is similar to the traffic light; I am not very sure about the true 'identity' of each zone but I know if it's very serious, they'll send the patient to Red Zone. Green Zone is for minor cases. :D

(nah don't worry bout me... You see, i observed this lot, so I was just an 'observer'. The one who fall sick is the house maid, and she's now ok already.)

I asked the nurse whether there's any doctor that night, because I didn't see anyone of them around at first. She replied that there're only two docs for that night in which, they need to see the patients in all the three zones, plus those who are in Observation Zone too. That's why they are late. They are lack of docs. And she said, staffs would have to take 'double-shifts' too. She gave an example - if they work for the night shift till 7am, they might need to turn up for the afternoon shift by 2pm again. They are lack of staffs too. How unbelievable!

Now comes the careless thing I did. I went to the GH in the morning to pick up the maid and I parked my car at the space that I thought it should be ok one. When everything was done by 8 something, when I approached my car, I found out that my car was blocked. And many of the cars there were blocked too! I started to get nervous. I thought it was a doctor's car blocking my car and the image of doctor in an operating room was running in my mind. "Duhh what if it's the doc's car, and what if he's busy with his works, who can move the car away?" I didn't know what to do.

And then, I found the words 'PATOLOGI' painted on the ground at the space I parked my car. By that time, there's a lady coming out from a car, which blocked others' cars, probably seeing me being helpless, said "you go in that building and ask the people upstair. The car owner is in there." "THANK YOU~~" there's someone to help me! I took down the car plat number and went into the building in front of the car park and successfully got someone to help to move the car away. Actually I was ready to get scolded because I thought I was the one who park the car at inappropriate space. Well, lastly everything turned out smoothly and they're actually very nice people. : )

This time, GH is lack of parking spaces. Even the staffs also have to block others' cars.

Now, what I want to say is that, for us, do park at the general car park provided. And, be healthy. So that we don't need to go to the H.
